Application, Features and Options

Aerolique Fusion Fan Coil Units have been designed for application in chilled water central systems where air is required to be ducted to and from the unit from the air-conditioned space.

The application of larger fan impellers, counter flow coil, Draw through and Blow through configuration, variable speed motors and integrated controls provide the ultimate in flexibility for any low to medium static ducted system.

Counter Flow Coil with 3.5 Rows – Ultimate coil optimization makes use of the extra 1⁄2 row when employing electric heat for added cooling power. Pure counter flow coil with 2,3,4 and 6 Circuits provides added cooling power and keeps water pressure drop low and within standard band for all sizes to save pump energy.

Low flow high delta T applications – optional reduced coil circuits for high delta T systems.

Low noise – Internal acoustic lining prevents noise breakout from casing and thermally insulates the unit, saving energy

Easily removable coil and Fan motor for ease of

maintenance.

Factory fitted Control Valves – 2 way motorized ball valves fitted at the factory to reduce
installation time.

Ball valve technology – guarantees 600 kPa Shutoff and resistance to water borne debris. Available as On/Off

Optional EC variable speed motor -Reduces power consumption by up to 70% and provides the perfect tool for balancing your system on site.

Optional Advanced Factory fitted controller – Modbus standard BMS ready controller factory mounted and tested, get a complete solution to reduce startup time and prevent installation errors. Available with infrared remote controller and wired wall pad.

Dynamic Water flow balancing – For units with EC motors and 0-10v valves the water is dynamically balanced to hold a set delta T under all load conditions. Removing the cost of a balance valve or complex pressure independent flow control valves. The FCU is self balancing, constantly adapting to the dynamics of the system. Reduces commissioning and first cost. The Fan coils control delta T in the water loop for optimum efficiency from the pumps and chillers.

Optional ENERGY BOX – using the power of the factory controller, flexibility of the EC motor and modulating valve Aerolique has developed a system optimized for 4 pipe application.4 pipes connect to the energy Box from the system, 2 pipes connect to the fan coil units in the zone.

Metering where metering is required. The ENERGY BOX can be fitted with optional Class 2 Modbus enabled energy meter to give a 20ms pulse output per 0.1 kWhr for heating and cooling.

The ENERGY BOX makes full use of the entire FCU coil in both heating and cooling modes thus water temperatures are more efficient.
