AEROFRESH™
Adiabatic Cooling System
AEROFRESHTM is integrated in drycoolers and air condensers, and provides adiabatic cooling of the air.
- Available for the VEXTRATM and OPERATM ranges (in horizontal position – induced draught)
- Used during the warmest periods
AEROFRESHTM is a complete air cooling system which uses water misting.
Misting is obtained using a high-pressure water spray technique (up to 100 bar). Ultra-fine droplets are sprayed in the opposite direction to the flow of air, causing them to evaporate instantly.
The air is cooled before it enters the dry cooler.
This system avoids having to oversize the system to cope with extreme but infrequent high temperatures.
AEROFRESHTM is composed of:
- An unit with a pump, solenoid valve, pressure gauge, pressure switch and 5μ filter.
- Stainless steel misting rails with brass nozzles.
As an option, a premium version of this unit is available with an additional UV lamp for antibacterial water treatment and automatic controller for managing faults or maintenance.
AEROFRESHTM is also available in an ionized water version.
All metal parts in contact with water are made from stainless steel, including the nozzles.
AEROFRESHTM is controlled by an AEROCONNECT control cabinet.

Optimized water consumption:
- Very limited water supply wastage thanks to optimized evaporation of ultra-fine droplets
- To meet the requirements as closely as possible, several nozzle diameters are available and the pressure is set between 50 and 100 bar
Health and hygiene with the optional premium unit:
- Thanks to the antibacterial UV lamp
- Thanks to daily flushing (pipes + cabinet) to prevent the formation of biofilm
